AI Transparency

Effective October 16, 2026

Built Better, Quicker. We use modern tools, including artificial intelligence, to help our team work more efficiently. This page explains how AI may support our communications, software engineering, code reviews, bug fixing, and other client services — and the human oversight we apply.

Where we use AI

AI tools may assist our team during planning, development, delivery, and support. The level of AI assistance varies by project and task.

  • Communications and content: drafts of emails, proposals, documentation, descriptions, and other written materials.
  • Software development: planning, code suggestions, implementation support, refactoring, and technical documentation.
  • Code reviews and quality: analyzing proposed changes, identifying potential issues, reviewing patterns, and suggesting improvements.
  • Bugs and troubleshooting: investigating error messages, diagnosing defects, exploring potential fixes, and helping plan tests.
  • Testing and maintenance: generating test cases, reviewing test results, researching compatibility, and supporting routine maintenance.
  • Business solutions: prototyping workflows, evaluating integrations, analyzing information, and exploring automation opportunities.

Human review and accountability

AI is a tool used by Denton BBQ, not a substitute for our team’s professional judgment. We remain responsible for the work we deliver.

  • Our team reviews and approves AI-assisted client-facing communications and deliverables before sending or publishing them.
  • AI-suggested code and bug fixes are assessed and tested as appropriate to the change before production deployment.
  • Business requirements, system access, customer-specific decisions, and approvals remain under authorized human control.
  • AI-generated suggestions can be inaccurate or incomplete; human review does not guarantee error-free results.

Privacy, security, and client information

We take confidentiality and appropriate data handling seriously when considering the use of AI-assisted services.

  • We aim to limit the use of client or personal information in AI tools to what is necessary and authorized for the task.
  • Credentials, API keys, payment information, and other secrets should not be placed into AI prompts or public materials.
  • Where AI providers or other third parties are involved, applicable agreements, access controls, and privacy practices still matter.
  • Client-specific agreements may establish additional restrictions or requirements for AI-assisted work.

Transparency without implied endorsement

We may identify the technologies used in a project when relevant, but using a particular AI service does not mean that provider sponsors, certifies, or endorses Denton BBQ LLC. We do not represent AI-assisted work as independently reviewed or approved by an AI provider.
