Celebrating 250 Years of America

As Independence Day approaches, our nation is preparing to celebrate a remarkable milestone—250 years of the United States of America.

For me, this celebration brings back a special memory.

In 1976, America celebrated its Bicentennial. I was just a teenager, but I still remember the excitement that filled the country. Red, white, and blue seemed to be everywhere. Communities came together, families gathered for parades and fireworks, and there was a genuine sense of pride in being an American. At that age, I probably didn't fully understand the significance of 200 years of history, but I knew I was proud to be part of it.

Now, fifty years later, I have the privilege of witnessing another historic milestone.

America's story has never been perfect, but it has always been one of resilience, innovation, opportunity, and people willing to work hard to build a better future. That same spirit continues to inspire entrepreneurs, small business owners, and communities across the country.

As the owner of Denton BBQ, I have the opportunity every day to help businesses build, grow, and succeed online. It's something I never take for granted. Every business has a story, and every entrepreneur starts with an idea, a dream, and the determination to make it happen. That spirit is part of what has made this country extraordinary for 250 years.

This Independence Day, I hope you'll take a moment to enjoy time with family and friends, thank those who have served our nation, support a local small business, and reflect on the opportunities we have because of those who came before us.

Here's to the next 250 years of innovation, perseverance, and the American spirit.
